Does anyone know any unsolved cases of missing/hidden treasure/money?

Okay, some of you are missing it. I’m looking for answers more like ’sushiSniper.’ I just heard there is a legend of Black Beard treasure on the coast of New Jersey in the US. That’s what I am looking for.

Great question! I tried to get my Dad to tell me where the money was, but he died with the secret & Mom was so scared of the Feds she kept me hidden in another part of the state with another name. I suspect she may have known something, but she died with the secret too. No one wants to talk or remember anything when it comes to this subject. Good luck!

Yamashita’s treasure in the Philippines, every Filipino knows about it, they just don’t know wher to find all the treasures.

and the Swiss Bank account of the late former Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos whose wealth is still kept frozen in the Swiss bank. The government believes that the money was stolen from the Philippine Government.

Yes, don’t know how true this is, but my grandmother said a long time ago there was a wealthy man who lived close to them. He and his servant buried all his money in a pasture. Well after they buried them one barrel was unaccounted for. They then preceded to dig them all up, but this one barrel they never found. This infuriated the wealthy man so much that he killed his servant. The wealthy man never stopped looking for his money till the day he died. My great grandfather would catch people digging for the money all the time, in the land that he then owned. Eventually a canal was built thru that pasture over that particular site. It was also said that at night you could see a light shining in the pasture before it was turned into a canal. They say it is the wealthy man still looking for his money. I say it was just people sneaking onto the property at night trying to get rich fast.
