A full pack of strings usually $4, mabey replace all of them while your at it. http://www.musiciansfriend.com/guitar-strings
Replace them all for about $5
They shouldn’t cost over 10 dollars at the max. You could buy them over, but they aren’t that expensive (go for five dollars)…although if you did just get the guitar from a box and noticed that it was missing a string, you should talk to the company.
Around five dollars, eight for a violin.
Its been a few years but I don’t think you’ll pay more than $12 for a set of six.
A single string usually costs $1-2.
