I withdrew money from my account and about 200 dollars was missing. What steps should i take to get it back?

Call the bank and explain the situation.

Contact your bank, explain the situation. Know all of the online purchases you have made, or any other situations where someone could have gotten your information, as they may want to know that. Ask them to go over itemized charges with you so that you can tell them which charges are not yours. They may have you call the places where the fraudulent charges occurred in order to get your money back. Be prepared to have to debate the charges with those companies and don’t let them avoid you, or push you around.

May be someone wrongfully charged your account. Just dispute this payment.

What account was it from Checkings or your savings? It really doesn’t matter,you need to see one of the employee’s that has a desk and helps with loans and things like that. They will help you with this and tell you what you have to do to get your money back.

double check recent statements first and see if you can see where the money has gone missing from, that way when you call the bank you can say everything that you know. once you have spoken to the bank you will know what steps to take from their advice but keep a good eye on your account so that you spot if anything else goes missing
