Good book on using whole life as a financing and savings tool to "be your own bank". It gives you plenty of detail around the use of whole life (with paid up additions riders from a mutual, dividend paying company) as a tool to recapture interest you would otherwise pay to lenders. It also give you plenty of insight on different ways to think about money (than I had at least) and has a bit of a political slant toward tea party mentality. It does try to point you to an advisor from their YouBeTheBank web site, which I'd guess they get a cut of, but there is enough detail in the book to get you on the path to be your own "bank".

Pros:
- Details on the system that other books lack
- Good insight on how to think about money differently

Cons:
- Not enough real life examples
- Tries to get you to use one of their financial advisors
Rating: 4 / 5
