Should someone start a fund for all the other missing children?
I think it is only fair that someone should start up a fund/charity just for missing children. It seems so unfair that the McCanns have one setup, but that money is to be used for themselves. Who thinks it is a good idea. I am already a Trustee with an different type of Association in the UK, which I am the secretary. I already have my hand up for someone to start one up.
All the money could be used to donate to the parents who have already lost their child through abduction/murder and the rest could go to help find missing children. It does need something like this started up in the UK.

I agree. I don’t think it is such a great idea if it is done they way the McCanns do it. Of course, I feel terribly sorry for parents who lost their children. There can’t be anything worse but all the media hustle about Madeleine for example and the fund need to be taken into perspective. Every day thousands of children die or get missing and for 99% of them not much attention is paid. Are they any less worth? Is a doctor’s child any more worth? I believe it is unfair that only children who happen to live in a country where media finds interest in broadcasting about their disappearance. For the money that has been collected for Madeleine probably hundreds of, for example children’s lives in Africa could have been saved.
Yes i totally agree with you. the McCanns are not the only ones out there going threw this . my heart goes out to them but at the same time there are other kids missing to and no one to help the familys find them cause they dont have the funds.
