Math problem: You borrowed money from Person A and B $50 each; totaling a sum of $100. You bought an item worth $97 giving you a change of $3. You returned the change to Person A and B evenly; giving them $1 each leaving you $1. How much do you owe them each? Add all your remaining debt from each person ($49 each) then add the remaining change you still have ($1). What is the total? It should be $100 right? What happen to missing $1?
