My husband has been terminated from employment for theft. It was however rather shocking, he didnt steal anything. The boss simply said money was missing from deposits and he was fired. No reconciliation to show exactly how much was missing. No investigation to show that my husband was the one that took it, only assumption. No questioning of any kind of other employees. Can his boss do this? Fire with no proof or investigation?
He has filed for unemployment which was denied. It says right on the letter from them in big bold letters, theft and the amount. But how can someone accuse you of something, destroy your financial being, with no conviction. He is being presumed guilty by an individual, not a court of law.
