After my third grader read Gary Paulsen’s “Lawn Boy” he started asking me about stocks and investing. I wasn’t doing the best job coming up with age appropriate, interesting responses, so I started looking for a book to help. He LOVED this book and has learned a great deal. He watches Market Watch with his Dad in the mornings before school (we are West Coast) and make some very interesting observations. We spent half the day after he finished the book looking at individual stock he thought might be doing well our current economy against the DJIA. He was making some decent picks! This book is a great resource for kids that want to know what all this market talk is about. Too bad is no longer stocked – but don’t hesitate to buy from a book dealer! I’ve bought kids’ books and textbooks from at least a half dozen different “stores” and never had an issue.
